Rolled vs wound

Neither is automatically better. Rolled transfers a hair more energy. Wound is dark, shiny black, can show grain, and feels a hair smoother in hand.

Natural vs dampened

Natural is closer to a nice wood shaft tone. Dampened keeps the tone but mutes it for a quieter thud with less feedback.

Deflection

Carbon type and sound option do not change deflection. 29, 30, and 31 in shafts have the same front-end build.

Gen 2 Quantum jump cues and Gen 2 Supernova break cues are $700 shipped with long wait lists.

What is natural sound?

A pleasant tone closer to a nice wood shaft, with good feedback and no hollow ting.

What is dampened sound?
