Shaft FAQs
Does rolled or wound carbon change deflection?
No. Both are designed with the same taper, wall thickness, weight, and related specs.
Does natural or dampened sound change deflection?
No. The shafts are built identically aside from sound.
What is natural sound?
A pleasant tone closer to a nice wood shaft, with good feedback and no hollow ring.
What is dampened sound?
The same general tone, muted quite a bit. Quieter, more thud, less feedback.
What taper is offered?
12.5 and 12.8 mm use a 14.5–15-inch pro taper. 11.8 mm uses a 10-inch pro taper.
What sizes are offered?
Pro: 11.8, 12.2, 12.5, and 12.8 mm tips; 29-, 30-, and 31-inch lengths. Core: 10.5, 11.8, 12.2, 12.5, and 12.8 mm tips; 29- and 30-inch lengths.
Can more deflection be added?
Pro shafts can be tuned for added deflection. Core is fixed: it has slightly more deflection than Pro while still staying very low deflection.

Most often: Gen 5 Pro, 29 inches, rolled, natural sound, 12.8 mm.

How much is due up front?
A 10% non-refundable deposit starts the build and is applied to the final total.
Can I make payments?
Yes, but the product cannot ship until fully paid.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty, assessed case by case. Modifications void the warranty.
