Put a 3-pack together in the first 20 minutes with the shaft. (Gen 5 Pro)

Coming from Revo, this is much better. I've never been so sure about a piece of billiards equipment before.

Absolute best shafts on the market. I've used almost every carbon fiber shaft out there, prior to this, the revo 12.4 was my favorite. The wheat state shoots better in every category in my opinion. The spin you can generate with so little effort is next level. All this while maintaining even better low deflection. Highly recommend.

About 3 weeks ago I received my Gen 5 Core playing shaft and a Gen 2 Supernova break shaft.

Id like to start by saying that the customer service I received was 2nd to none. Stephen Alexander Dubus is a pleasure to do business with! He kept me up to date with the progress of the shafts and contacted me prior to shipping. He also promptly answered all my questions and made me feel like I was doing business with a friend. Great person!!

I own and have played with several of the big name carbon shafts. I can honestly say that Wheat State Carbon is by far the best I've tried!!

The Gen 5 player hits clean and crisp with excellent feed back and feel! It's very low deflection and is now the only carbon I will play with. I'll be selling my other shafts and replacing them with the a Gen 5 pro.

The Supernova 2.0 is also amazing!!

It's increased my average break speed from 18mph to 20, and has excellent feedback and control.

I can't say enough good things about the products that Stephen makes and my overall experience.

Literally the most amazing shaft I have ever played with so far. Im getting more spin and draw out of the ball. There is also more control. The feel and hit blows way the previous Viking siege shaft I was using. Steven could probably get away with charging $700 as aposed to $500. Definitely worth the money. I will also note he was able to get it to fit borderline perfect at the joint of my butt. Virtually no ridge exists. Awesome craftsmanship.

I just received my Wheat State carbon and have been playing with it for a few hrs. now. I absolutely love it so far. I went with wound carbon, 30” and 12.8 mm natural dampening. It addresses the three issues I did not like about my previous shaft the fg 57. I don’t like the idea of an interchangeable thread insert on the fg 57, fg too light (3.6 oz compared to 4 oz for Wheat State) and diameter (prefer 12.8mm over 12.5)

I will be putting more time in with the Wheat State but so far I think it’s great! Btw, it is very similar low deflection to the fg 57 which I like! FG 57 will probably be up for sale soon. If you are considering a Wheat State Custom Cue & Repair custom carbon shaft I highly recommend ordering one. Great communication, came nicely packaged and I am pleased as punch!

I am here to share my experience with the wheat state cf shafts .

First I have tryed most all cf shafts on the market .

I got the rolled first and like them . I just ordered the wound damped cause I have ocd with shaft noise .

This shaft is but far the quietest shaft I have used .

Has almost no deflection. I get more outta the cue ball with less effort.

Gonna take some time to get used to using less and getting more . But definitely worth the wait and working with Stephen has been a pleasure.

He is the only one building shaft so please be patient with him .

He will stay in contact with you and he is always trying to get you the best product for the money you spend on his shafts .

All the specs I asked for were meet .

I have had multiple revos at all diameters, the pecahuer rogue,defy, a whyte carbon and a jacoby black v4. i don't say this lightly. this shaft out performs in basically every category. i went with a 12.8 rolled. it's the best sounding and best performing shaft I've used thus far. and Stephen's communication is top notch. very highly recommend

Wow, what a shaft, and fantastic customer service. Stephen took the time to to chat with me for *months* about what details I wanted *exactly*. Answering my questions, and asking me questions to get a solid idea of what to expect. Never bullshitted me with wild claims, but then delivered me the finest pool product I've ever used.

tried one of these the other day. I had never heard of them before. I think that definitely needs to change because these guys know what they are doing when it comes to shafts. If you don't want a hollow sounding piece of crap that was made in a factory by people who don't even understand pool then get yourself one of the carbons that rhymes with evo. If you want a solid hitting and sounding shaft made by people who quite obviously understand the game of pool then you need to get a Wheat State carbon fiber shaft. Now quit reading this and go get one already!

I have one Wheat State playing shaft and one wheat state break shaft. The playing shaft is the most solid feeling CF shaft I have used. It doesn’t have the empty “tingy” feel of other CF shafts on the market that I have played with. It requires little stroke and power for more action when playing the cue ball. The break shaft is about as good as it gets also. I previously used a BK Rush until I got the break shaft for a playing butt and the breaks are consistent with minimal power. Not to mention the assistance from Wheat State leading up to my purchase was too notch. I highly recommend both the play shaft and the break shaft.

Have a friend locally that purchased your shafts and I was asked to try it. Wanted to say that I was very impressed. Very nice workmanship.

Like some others I took a chance on this shaft without ever trying it out. Immediately I liked the solid wood shaft feel and sound. The cool customization collars, pads,, and ferrule is just an awesome bonus as well, oh and not to mention it’s $100+ dollars less than all the others!! I’ve shot with the revo and Jacoby black and this blows them away! Everyone I let try said WOW that’s amazing!! I’ll never shoot with anything else!! 🎱

I originally shot with a Cuetec CF. When I tried Wheat State shaft, I noticed a difference and really liked it.

I have had a wheat state shaft for about 8 months. Best shaft I have shot with. Stephen is great to work with.

I've tried their cf shaft several times. and even a jump cue and break shaft. as far as the playing shaft, fell in love with it the first time I tried it. finally got one ordered. can't wait till it gets here!!!!!!!!!

Wheat state makes a phenomenal shaft. I have been using this for less than a year and it's amazing how much my game has changed. Alot of it is the confidence in my shot, I know where the ball is going after I hit it. It is a solid hit whether English or center ball. The deflection is so minimal that I can use side and not have to over compensate on aim as some traditional shafts.

I have yet to meet someone that has practiced with my cue that didnt instantly fall in love with it. It's nice to see others buy the onyx and help someone live their dream of making shafts and not be a big time production shop. Stephen will do anything he can to accommodate you with what you want!

All in all, never buying another shaft! (I am not usually a brand loyalist either)

I've owned a WS playing shaft for almost a year now n it was a shot in the dark buying one. started by talking to steven about everything from a to b with great customer service and honest opinions I pulled the trigger on getting one without ever shooting or even seeing one. let me tell you its THE best CF shaft I've shot with and ever will. I'm a pretty decent player and have tried every CF shaft from every major manufacturer. The feel is what has me sold but comparing other attributes it's on par if not better than any major manufacturer. Thats my honest opinion...

Few months ago I tried one of their shafts. We were in Prescott, AZ and we had 3 different brands, my friend’s friend had the WSC shaft. I like it a lot, very solid, moves the ball very easy. I was able to spin the ball with less effort and more control. IMO one of the best shafts in the market.

I tried one of your first jump cues and is was a great experience. It jumped better than my meucci and McDermott jump cues I’ve tried.

I see a lot of people ask. How much does the Carbon Fiber Wheat State Custom cue and repair shaft cost. The answer is $375. And for that $375 your getting a great product. The best customer service. I too was skeptical. There isn’t anything, anywhere besides Facebook to research. I looked and looked. I asked a few pool shooting buddies and they all warned me not to. Being on the east coast it was hard for me to find any information on Wheat State. But I had a gut feeling. And man, I am here to tell you it was the best “pool” decision I have made since I picked up my first cue. I can’t say I have played with all the CF shafts out there. I can tell you that once Stephen Alexander Dubus and the world figures out what he is selling. That price will definitely go up.

I won a Wheat State Custom Carbon Fiber Shaft off a raffle by Cue it Up Podcast. I figured that I would get a crummy mess up since it was free. Boy was I wrong...the shaft fits perfect, hits perfect, and is all around amazing. If you look down the barrel I can’t see the steel joint so it’s perfectly aligned. The hit is so smooth and sounds like beauty. The man behind it all, Stephen, is awesome. He learned everything he needed to know by calling me THE DAY I won the raffle. I got my carbon fiber shaft today from Wheat State custom cues. I was iffy on buying a shaft that I’ve never played with but I’ve seen a lot of great reviews on social media. So i went against my better judgment and ordered one and boy am i glad i did. Ive played with several cf shafts and some are great some are not. This one beats them all hands down. The feel, balance, sound and control that you can get from this shaft is truly undeniable. I went with the How tip and am truly impressed with that also. Thanks again WSCC AND REPAIR!!

I used to play with a rogue shaft. went to a buddies house and tried out his wheat state shaft. it took me 10 min to switch. These shafts play fantastic. IMO the best on the market period. I have played with rogue,revo,deffy,jacoby black, and prime. and this thing out plays all of them. The customization options are amazing. I got the 12.4 with a g2 and love it!! love it so much I ordered another one the next day. the quality of these are top notch. The customer services is like nothing else. Do not hesitate to buy one of these you wont regret it. what ya waiting for order one already!!!

I got my playing shaft about a month ago. Played my first tournament with it this past weekend. It played amazing! The hit feels really good, and no tinks or clinks! By far the best cf shaft i have owned

Just got my Custom Carbon Fiber shaft for my Meucci cues. HITS OUTSTANDING!!! Great price and hands down a better hit than mostly all of the carbon fiber shafts on the market!

I had a previous shaft that needed a new tip, I went to wheat state custom cue and repair and was given way more than I asked for. While there I dropped off a break shaft that I wanted done right and re built. They got started on it that night and gave me updates. Stand up work and wonderful customer service.
